    Kumashiro’s book is a wonderful account of the frames that have been created for the modern educational discourse. That being said, this is not a text for those preservice or inservice students who have not fully considered Apple’s concept of “addressing the commonsense” or the political context that is inherent in the classroom. However, this is an appropriate text for those instructors who have spent or will spend a great deal of time on issues of social justice.
